Ferdinand has spent most of his days quietly in the Ledon Forest living off nature’s bounty, tending to the wildlife, and vegetable farming. His quiet lifestyle was forever changed though when Princess Meadow of the Eladrin stumbled across his humble abode in the forest. She was the most interesting creature Ferdinand had ever encountered. A stunning beauty whose appearance and personality both shifted with her mood as suddenly as the changing of the wind. One moment she was as fiery and angry as the heat of summer and then upon meeting Ferdinand and seeing his calm, quiet demeanor, she quickly shifted to a similarly calm, collected mood as comforting as the crisp autumn air. No matter what changes her mood swings brought onto her physical appearance and her gleaming personality, Ferdinand always remained calm and collected. Princess Meadow had never met anyone like this. Someone that accepted her no matter what and always presented her with a cheerful smile and calm tone. The two of them became fast friends and fell in love with one another almost as quickly. Despite him being a commoner and a Firbolg, Meadow’s mother did eventually come around to his natural charm, accept him as family, and grant her blessing of their marriage. So now, Ferdinand has gone from living quietly alone in the forest, to moving into the Eladrin palace, and now to moving himself and his eccentric wife into Caelum after a contact at the palace insisted on Ferdinand teaching Druid classes at the newly established Phoenix University.
