Galloraptor

Large
Beast,
Unaligned

These raptor-like beasts resemble giant, feathered chickens, complete with crest, wattles, and a striking plumage that varies in color. Known for their intimidating talons and beak, wild Galloraptors are swift, predatory pack hunters, while domesticated ones serve as agile mounts and livestock on many Lestronian farms and ranches.

Traits

Limited Glide.
The Galloraptor can use its wings to glide short distances. If the Galloraptor jumps or falls from a height of at least 10 feet, it can glide horizontally up to twice the height it fell. For every 10 feet of horizontal movement, the Galloraptor reduces its falling damage by 10 feet.

Wing-Boosted Leap (Recharge 5-6).
The Galloraptor can use its wings to make a powerful leap into the air. As part of its movement, it can jump up to 30 feet horizontally and 15 feet vertically without provoking opportunity attacks.

Keen Senses.
The Galloraptor has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight or smell.

Pack Tactics.
The Galloraptor has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the Galloraptor’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.

Actions

Multiattack.
The Galloraptor makes two attacks: one with its beak and one with its talons.

Beak.
Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) piercing damage.

Talons.
Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) slashing damage.

Wing Flurry (Recharge 5-6).
The Galloraptor rapidly flaps its wings, creating a burst of wind in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the cone must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away and fall prone.
