Biography:

Camrick was born to humble beginnings on a farm in Broit, Arcanus, but as he grew up, he always had aspirations of becoming a brave adventurer like he read about in stories. At roughly 29 years of age, the young Gnome set off from home to chase this dream of his. Plans took a slight turn though when he arrived in Srochester and met the beautiful, young Nesbeth at a local tavern where she often hung out. Nesbeth was a spoiled rich girl who had no business in a tavern, but she enjoyed hearing the stories of adventures straight from the mouths of the barkeep and his patrons. Nesbeth was very quickly enamored with Camrick’s adventurous spirit and charming ways. Camrick got a room at that particular tavern and decided to stick around for a while, taking quests from the job board and doing odd jobs around the city for gold. Nesbeth continued visiting the tavern even more frequently than before at this point and the two of them very quickly fell madly in love. In a love-crazed daze, the pair eloped off to Sin City to get married without the knowledge of Nesbeth’s doting father, the legendary “man that made Lestron tremble” himself, Nesbis Copperhand. Nesbis was a very famous man for his contributions during the Great War and for his sheer genius in general. Yes, Nesbeth’s father had made quite a name for himself as the smartest man in all of Lestron. He was on the Council of Arcanus as well as head of the wealthy Copperhand Estate. So, when the young couple eventually returned to Srochester to tell Nesbis of their marriage, Camrick was quite nervous. He was very shocked as to what his new father-in-law did upon their first meeting. Nesbis shook Camrick’s hand and immediately welcomed him to the family. Far more shocking still, Nesbis offered for Camrick to move into the Copperhand Estate along with Nesbeth. To be fair though, Nesbis couldn’t possibly force his spoiled little girl to move out when the pair told him that Nesbeth was already with child. Plus, despite his fame, Nesbis was honestly a very humble, kind, and caring man. So, Camrick humbly accepted Nesbis’s offer to move in with them, but he assured his new father-in-law that he would work to earn his keep. Camrick did odd jobs for the Copperhand Estate and Nesbis ended up liking him well enough to try and give him mostly adventurous tasks so that Camrick could still fulfill his dream of becoming a full-fledged adventurer. He did things like retrieving supplies, making deliveries, etc. and as long as it meant he got to occasionally travel the wilds, fight off monsters and bandits, and go to interesting places, it kept Camrick quite happy. Nesbis was always careful to ensure no job would put Camrick in too much danger that the young Gnome wouldn’t be able to handle though. After all, this was the man that his daughter had fell in love with and was going to be the father of Nesbis’s granddaughter. Nesbis liked Camrick and grew to care for him. He wanted Camrick to remain safe and always come back home to the Estate. Eventually Camrick’s daughter, Crystal, was born to Nesbeth. She was absolutely perfect, quickly becoming the center of everyone’s attention around the Copperhand Estate. She looked a lot like Camrick, even with matching blue hair and blue eyes. Camrick almost forgot about his adventuring dreams entirely once she was in the picture. He hardly ever wanted to leave Crystal’s side. Some time after her birth though, Camrick took a job from the job board that was a bit more challenging than his usual work. This job intrigued Camrick and he wanted to prove to himself that he could handle it. So, he set off on this quest, promising his beloved family that he would return to them as soon as he could. Sadly though, that was the last time Camrick was seen by his family… To be continued… or…?
