Crystal’s father, Camrick, was a young, aspiring adventurer when he met Crystal’s mother, Nesbeth. Nesbeth was a spoiled rich girl who fell in love with Camrick’s adventurous spirit and charming ways. They got married at a relatively young age and Nesbeth’s father was so gracious so as to let them live on the Copperhand Estate with him. After all, he couldn’t possibly force his spoiled little girl to move out when he found out the newlywed Nesbeth was already pregnant with his granddaughter. So Camrick humbly accepted Nesbis’s offer to move in with them and assured his new father-in-law that he would work to earn his keep. Camrick did odd jobs for Copperhand Enterprises and Nesbis liked him well enough to mostly task him with somewhat adventurous tasks so that Camrick could still fulfill his dream of becoming a full-fledged adventurer. He did things like retrieving supplies, making deliveries, etc. but Nesbis tried to give him as many jobs as possible that involved danger, intrigue, and adventure.
